Are you looking for some great inspiration to help in areas of adversity and challenges that may come up throughout the week? You’ve come to the right place. Welcome to Sunday Inspirations.
This week we are wrapping up June and heading into the full swing of Summer with July coming upon us. I have been busy with kids activities as well as trying to maintain some balance in other areas of my life.
Finding this balance has not come without adversity. I have had to use many sources to keep up with my own personal goals of incorporating a routine of exercise and healthy eating choices. While at the same time faced some obstacles in some other places.
I hope you find a little something to carry with you as you head into the new week. Read along and enjoy.

I found some great inspiration from Angel this week over at Sew Crafty Angel. She shared some wonderful stories and pictures in her post He Restores My Faith in Humanity.
For those that don’t already know, we are a huge soccer family. We live and breathe it…. You can see here how we watched the US vs. Portugal game. Before the World Cup started, my kids and I were shocked that Landon Donovan didn’t make the final cut to represent our Country in Brazil. Lately, I’ve seen him all over the sports channels showing his support for his past teammates and our Country. I have been amazed at how he has handled the disappointment of not being chosen for the US Men’s Team. In an article I read today in the LA Times he is quite honest that he was bitter, but goes into depths of how he overcame this adversity. He shares with complete honesty and shows his tremendous integrity and sportsmanship.
“If you’re lost and alone or you’re sinking like a stone. Carry on. May your past be the sound of your feet upon the ground. Carry On. If you’re lost and alone, or you’re sinking like a stone, carry on.”- Fun
