When I think of babies and food, my first thoughts are; they get messy and have fun! That’s just what they do. From birthday party cake to uh oh they got into mom’s makeup our kiddos are always getting dirty. These moments may be a pain but they sure are memories you will look back on.
This post and giveaway were made possible by iConnect and Dreft. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.
All these crazy baby messes don’t have to be so bad thanks to Dreft! With all 7 of my cherubs I can say I’ve not only depended on Dreft but have saved many favorite outfits from being ruined all because I have ONLY used Dreft. I could not have survived all these years without Dreft. I can wholeheartedly say it’s the best for my babies and my family!!!!! Many moms, including myself, have struggled with worrying about keeping our kids clean and not ruining their clothes.
A survey showed that moms are 87% more likely to encourage activities where our little ones won’t get dirty. Yes, I’ve been in that category with my first kiddo. Did you know 88% of parents will have their kids stay in their diaper so they don’t get their clothes dirty? Yes, I was in that group too… Dreft says no more… let’s embrace the mess.
With this in mind, Dreft has partnered with Parents Magazine to launch their Dreft’s America’s Messiest Baby Campaign! YAY! We get to get messy and have a contest. This contest is wanting messy baby pictures… ooooh what fun we can have! Families can enter the contest by submitting photos of their awesome messy baby moments! The winner will have the chance for their baby to be featured on the cover of Parents Magazine and win a supply of Dreft product. There is so much more to this contest, check it out here. Contest entry for the #MessiestBabyContest will be ending November 30th, 2016.
Studies shows getting messy and having fun benefits our kids cognitive and motor skill development. Dr. Dyan Hes, Medical Director of Gramercy Pediatrics has partnered with Dreft, she has the following tips to bring out the best developmentally for your baby while letting them get messy and have fun.
- Count the fun and use your fingers
- Throwing practice
- Load up on bibs
- Dress baby right and care for the fabrics
- Splish, Splash in the Bath
- Get outside
Dreft recently had a fun event in New York City to kick off their search for the messiest baby campaign. They had the help of actress Molly Sims, where she was able to have a blast and watch all the sweet little ones get messy. Talk about fun.
