Home ownership is something that most of us dream about. Others that are currently homeowners may be experiencing great difficulties and don’t know where to turn.
A homeowner can feel unsure of what to do if they are behind or having trouble making their mortgage. The more they feel bogged down the bigger the hole can seem.
If you or someone you know is having trouble getting their mortgage paid, there is help out there. The Making Home Affordable® (MHA) program provides free resources and assistance for struggling homeowners who are hard workers and yet having to juggle things around to makes ends meet. Many unforeseen things happen that can affect most families that will now need help to say in their home and avoid foreclosure.
The MHA program has already helped more than 1.5 million families! That’s amazing. Through the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP), homeowners have been able to reduce their monthly mortgage payments by approximately $500 each month. Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP) – HAMP® is set up to lower monthly mortgage payments, making them more affordable and practical for the long run.
There’s also help with the Hardest Hit Fund (HHF)– HHF programs are set up to go along with the MHA programs and provide assistance to struggling homeowners, like some in this testimonial videos, through modifications, mortgage payment assistance, and transition assistance programs.
With the assistance of Federal Making Home Affordable program, numerous homeowners have received much-needed help to decrease their monthly payments, get mortgage relief, and stay out of foreclosure. Homeowners who are struggling to make mortgage payments can call 888-995-HOPE or visit MakingHomeAffordable.gov for free resources and information to help them with their mortgage problems and avoid foreclosure. No one should feel alone in these situations, but many do and don’t know there is help out there. There is a way for those struggling homeowners to get back on their feet and on the road to financial stability with the help of Making Home Affordable® (MHA).
